Yali × Cambi Casa D'Aste Collector's House: The Day Before The Auction
On the occasion of Yali's Spring Summer 2027 collection, Cambi Casa d'Aste and Yali bring to life a collaboration that puts fashion, art, design and collecting into dialogue.
Collector's House sees Yali build an imaginary world around the figure of the collector and the personal relationship that forms with objects: works, furniture, books and garments that move through time, change context and continue to tell new stories.
An approach that finds a natural affinity with the world of Cambi, where every object carries with it a provenance, a memory and a story destined to continue in the hands of a new owner.
The collaboration takes shape through a selection of works and furniture from Cambi's Design Properties auction catalogue, which enter the universe of Collector's House, helping to create an environment that is lived-in, layered and personal. A space in which different eras and languages coexist freely, and where the value of things also lies in their ability to move through time.

Bringing these shared values to life is Joy Herro, whose curation of the set for the collection's presentation translates into the space the story behind the collaboration. According to Herro, every composition that defines the set design as a whole appears spontaneous and almost accidental, but is in fact carefully calibrated, allowing each object to have its own moment while, at the same time, coexisting harmoniously with the others. The installation reflects the peculiar logic of collecting: every object has a story, every object has a personality, and every collector is convinced there's room for just one more.
